AGASTYA INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION
REPORT ON “KALA KOOTAMI” KUPPAM CAMPUS
A 3 day art and creativity fair was done at the Art Lab in Agastya kuppam campus by the name of “KALA KOOTAMI “from 29th March,2016 to 31st March,2016. In this fair Media arts, Library and Art department children displayed all activities done in the academic year 2015-16. The fair attracts 1255 Girls, 1196 Boys, 143 Govt., & other teachers and 60 Operation Vasantha Volunteers totally 2654. Our chairperson sri.Ramji sir along with regional managers from across India and other Agastya management delegates visited this fair.
Media arts, Arts and Library children exhibited their work done in regular classes also they participated and shared their experience in this fair. Photographs, art works, videos, films, Story books and other works. Finally distributed appreciation certificates to children as well as School.
Art Children shared their knowledge to kids who came for the exhibition and they explained beautiful and different types of drawings, paintings, sculpture arts, thread arts like so many arts at Art gallery secession. Everyone experienced when they doing instant painting in the fair.
Media arts children exhibited their work and shared wonderful experience and knowledge gained while doing photography practices starts from making pinhole camera and taking pictures , darkroom printing experiences, handling physical and digital camera, making short story films on humanity also they showed a grateful animated video done by their own knowledge.
Library children heart fully invited who came for the exhibition and shared their work experience on making a picture story “Big Book” , in this work they feel story creators, owners, authors, illustrators and translators. Also they explained about story telling with different puppets like mouth,fingur and stick made by papers, card boards, stick and finally narrate simple dialogue’s and roll-play using they made puppets.
