Program Highlights
MediaArts Lab – Cohort Journey
The MediaArts Lab journey progressed steadily with enthusiastic participation from children across multiple partner schools. The cohort began with strong engagement, and over the months, learners gradually moved from foundational exposure to hands-on creative production. By the end of the reporting period, students had reached the production stage, where they actively applied storytelling, visual design, and media concepts to create their own outputs. The journey emphasized creativity, collaboration, and confidence-building, allowing students to explore media tools in an experiential and engaging manner.
Bandhu Sessions – Stop-Motion Animation
As part of the Bandhu initiative, stop-motion animation sessions were conducted for teacher trainees. These sessions focused on introducing animation as an innovative pedagogical tool that could be integrated into classroom teaching. Participants explored storytelling through visual sequencing and hands-on creation, producing multiple short animations aligned with their subject knowledge. The sessions were highly interactive and encouraged educators to adopt creative methods in their future teaching practices, particularly through the use of self-made teaching–learning materials.
Community Engagement Activities
Community-focused events were organized with the aim of spreading awareness on socially relevant themes. These events brought together children and community members in a participatory learning environment. Through creative displays, discussions, and interactive activities, participants explored topics such as environmental responsibility and healthy lifestyle choices. The events encouraged dialogue, collective reflection, and community ownership, strengthening the connection between learning spaces and the wider community.
MediaArts Open Day Event
The MediaArts Lab hosted an open day to showcase student learning and creative outcomes. The event featured a wide range of student-created works, including visual media displays, creative exhibits, and hands-on interactive installations. Visitors experienced the learning process through live demonstrations and immersive activities designed to spark curiosity and engagement. The event also provided an opportunity for educators, youth facilitators, and community members to observe the impact of experiential learning approaches and celebrate the creative efforts of young participants.
