Challenges Continue!

Brian and Maria receiving food
Your kind generosity has created an amazing opportunity for Maria to help her children. Maria’s daughter, Rebecca, cooks food every night to sell from her food truck everyday. This helps her provide food for the children of Maria’s orphanage.
***
Because the food truck has no actual kitchen, Rebecca is limited to what she cooks the night before to sell to hungry construction workers. It would be truly helpful to have enough funds to add some non-perishable items, (like potatoe chips) to sell for their lunches. It would be even more helpful to have the truck actually outfitted with a kitchen so Rebecca could cook on-site....a dream that will hopefully come true one day.
***
But for now, Rebecca faces the challenge of where to take her food truck as the construction site is shutting down. She must remain close to home because of needing to cook food at home...not to mention the cost of gas!
***
AAI volunteers attempted to make Maria's Restaurant more self-sustainable by planting a vegetable garden to grow ingredients for her lunch recipes. Unfortunately, the animals helped themselves to the garden before it could be harvested.
***
So we continue to need your support to face the challenges as we strive to make Maria's Restaurant self-sustainable while earning enough money to feed the 30 children Maria cares for.
***
THANK YOU so much for your past...and continuing support.
