Our sustainable fish farming project, still remains our “big push” project in long term fishing sustainability in our beloved community! The project stalled due to capital and other factors but we are committed to seeing it through to success. This particular year, we had though time with the rains and “flood” from the lagoon overflowing it banks, making it difficult to do any work on other concrete ponds!
Good news is that, we have been able to purchase a water pump to get water out of the pond to give way for the reconstruction work! the water is going down and hopefully, works on the pond can resume soon
