Project Report | Aug 26, 2026
Litokryl Space (May-July 2026)

By Hanna Karika | Director

During the reporting period, Litokryl Space continued to provide consistent offline support to children and adolescents through psychosocial services, educational activities, creative programs, sports, and cybersecurity education. The focus remained on creating a safe and stable environment where children can learn, communicate, develop new skills, and receive professional support.

Key results for the period

  • 1,655 new children and adolescents reached through offline activities
  • 579 psychosocial support sessions conducted offline
  • 1,816 educational, creative, and sports activities delivered
  • 1,486 children and adolescents participated in cybersecurity and digital safety activities
  • 46 cybersecurity sessions conducted

These results reflect both the scale and consistency of the work. Litokryl Space is not built around one-time events. Children are able to return regularly, participate in different activities, build relationships with specialists and peers, and receive support over time.

What stands behind these numbers

Psychosocial support remains an important part of the program. Through group sessions, individual support, creative practices, and activities focused on communication and emotional well-being, children have opportunities to better understand their emotions, cope with stress, and strengthen their sense of safety.

At the same time, educational, creative, and sports activities help maintain a sense of routine and normal daily life. They give children space to explore their interests, interact with others, stay physically active, and gain positive experiences outside the pressures they face in everyday life.

An important part of the program during this period was cybersecurity and digital safety education. We conducted 46 dedicated sessions that reached 1,486 children and adolescents. Participants learned how to recognize online risks, protect personal information, communicate more safely online, and respond to potentially harmful or manipulative content. For children and teenagers in Ukraine, these skills are especially important today, as much of their communication, education, and access to information takes place online, while the risks of misinformation, fraud, manipulation, and other digital threats remain high.

The number of children joining the offline program shows that accessible community-based spaces remain highly needed. For many families, Litokryl is a place they can return to regularly and know that their children will find structured activities, supportive adults, and a safe environment.

We continue to develop the program based on the needs of children and families and to combine psychosocial support with activities that contribute to their learning, development, social connection, and digital safety.

Thank you for supporting Litokryl Space. Your contribution helps us keep these services accessible and continue providing children and adolescents with consistent support, meaningful activities, practical skills, and a safe place to spend time and recover.
