Litokryl Reopens: Offline & Mobile Support

Dear Friends,

We are glad to share an update: the Litokryl team is now working in a new offline space in Kharkiv. After a period of mobile outreach, we once again have a permanent place where we can provide children and families with regular, safe, and consistent psycho-emotional support.

At the same time, our mobile outreach across the Kharkiv region has not stopped and remains an essential part of our work. We continue traveling to communities where children and families are unable to reach the city, bringing support directly to where it is needed most.

When families could not come to us, we came to them. And now, once again, we can open our doors and say: “You are safe here.”

What is happening in the new space now

In the reopened space, we hold daily sessions focused on the stabilization, recovery, and development of children who have experienced the impact of war. These include individual and group psychological support, art and creative therapy formats, body-based and movement practices, as well as educational and developmental activities for different age groups.

The space has become a place where children can return to a sense of safety, learn to recognize and process their emotions, and gradually rebuild trust in the world and in themselves. For parents, it is an opportunity to receive support, guidance, and reassurance that they are not facing these challenges alone.

Early results of the space’s work

Already in the first weeks, we see steady demand for the activities and children returning regularly. Children are becoming more open and calmer, interacting more easily with one another, while parents note improvements in their children’s emotional well-being and behavior at home.

Overall, in December, combining activities in the offline space and mobile outreach across the Kharkiv region, we reached 144 new beneficiaries.

Thank you for your support! Because of you, we were able not only to continue helping without a physical space, but also to open a new chapter – restoring a permanent offline space in Kharkiv. This allows us to work more deeply, more consistently, and to stay close to those who need it most.

If you’re able, please consider supporting Litokryl’s work – both in our offline space and through mobile outreach in the Kharkiv region. Every contribution helps us stay present for children who need support most, wherever they are – and when they have nowhere else to turn.

Thank you for standing with Ukraine!
