Dear Donors and Supporters,
Thank you for believing in the Lit for Life Project and for investing in the future of children across Ghana. Your continued encouragement and generosity inspire us to keep working towards a future where every child has access to books and the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of reading.
Although we have not yet raised enough funds to begin printing our next batch of books, we are making important progress behind the scenes. We are pleased to share that our book is with the printer in Ghana, ready for production as soon as funding becomes available. Our goal is to raise enough support to print at least 1,000 copies by the end of this year and donate them to schools and community libraries serving children with limited access to books.
In the meantime, our literacy work continues. Through our partnership with the Jasikan Community Library, we have commenced running our Lit for Life Reading Support Programme, providing after-school reading sessions where children enjoy books, improve their reading skills, and build confidence IT skills in a safe and encouraging learning environment.
We are also excited to share that we have shipped donated children's books from the United Kingdom to Ghana. As Founder of Feminine Star Africa and a teacher in the UK, I have been privileged to collect quality pre-loved children's books from my school community. These books will soon be distributed to schools and libraries across Ghana, helping many more children discover the joy of reading while we continue fundraising for our own book printing project.
Looking ahead, our greatest priority is to raise enough funds to print 1,000 copies of Golina's Glorious Quests. Every donation brings us closer to placing inspiring, culturally relevant storybooks into the hands of children who need them most, opening doors to imagination, confidence, and learning.
