We are pleased to share encouraging progress from our Lit for Life Reading Support Project, made possible through the generosity of donors on the GlobalGiving platform.
Through donations received, we have been able to secure and pay a printing press in Ghana to print 100 copies of our children’s book, Golina’s Glorious Quests. This step is helping us move closer to our goal of increasing access to quality reading materials for children in underserved communities.
We recently donated 60 copies of Golina’s Glorious Quests to the library of Anglican Basic School Jasikan, providing pupils with storybooks that support literacy and imagination. For many children in rural communities, storybooks are a rare resource, and this contribution helps strengthen their reading culture.
In addition, we marked World Book Day by donating books to a Peduase Primary School in the Eastern Region, encouraging pupils to develop a love for reading and learning.
Your support has made these milestones possible. Looking ahead, our goal this year is to reach at least 10 schools and distribute 1,000 copies of Golina’s Glorious Quests, helping more children gain access to books they can read both at school and at home.
Thank you for making this work possible and for helping us nurture the next generation of readers.
