By Comfort Joseph | Program Coordinator
We are grateful to GlobalGiving and our donors for your continued interest in and commitment to the Christopher Kolade Foundation's work to empower adolescent girls.
We are pleased to share that we have received approval from the relevant education district authorities to commence the Life Skills Training Program in schools. This is an important step forward, bringing us closer to resuming training and extending the program's reach to more girls in Lagos State public secondary schools.
While training activities have yet to resume, funding remains a key requirement for implementation. We continue to work toward securing the resources needed to deliver the next phase of the program. To date, 119 girls have benefited from the training, and our goal remains to reach 500 girls with practical knowledge and skills to help them protect themselves from abuse, make informed decisions, and build confident futures.
With the necessary approval now secured, our next priority is to mobilize the resources required to commence training. We remain committed to advancing this project and reaching more adolescent girls with the knowledge and skills they need to make safe and informed life choices.
Thank you for being part of our efforts to create safer, more empowering opportunities for girls.
