Life Skills Training Program for 500 School Girls

We are grateful to GlobalGiving and our donors for your continued support of the Christopher Kolade Foundation. As we move through the year, the Foundation remains committed to equipping adolescent girls with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions, protect themselves from abuse, and build brighter futures.

While training activities have not yet resumed since our last report, the Foundation has been working closely with the Lagos State Ministry of Education to secure the approvals required to implement and expand the Life Skills Training Program in public secondary schools across the state. These engagements are a critical step toward program delivery, and we are encouraged by the progress made so far.

To date, 119 girls have benefited from the Life Skills Training Program. Our goal remains to reach 500 girls, and we continue to mobilize the resources and partnerships needed to achieve this target. We remain optimistic about commencing program activities at the start of the next school session later this year.

Meanwhile, the Foundation continues to invest in the educational advancement of young women through the Soars Scholarship Program. As of the end of 2025, 102 scholars across 30 universities in Nigeria remain enrolled in the program, receiving support to pursue their tertiary education and build successful futures.
