The initial state of the Lounge
The initial state of the Lounge

Legacy Foundation Japan has received $250.00 through Global Givens for Let’s Talk About It.
This amount, along with other local donations, has allowed for two employees to be hired to
help with marketing strategies, public relations and office work. They will work alongside the four
current volunteers we currently have.
Upgrades to Legacy Lounge have been made to create a comfortable, safe space that will serve
as an office, workshop, seminar and round table talk space.
GlobalGivings partnering with us has helped us to secure two additional local counselors and
one psychiatrist that have decided to volunteer their time to support Let”s Talk About It initiative
to support mental health for those living in Japan.
An info session and meet and greet followed by a concert fundraiser for Let’s Talk It is coming
up on the 7th of December to share more about the program and introduce counselors working
with the program.
