The opportunities WE create

By Staff | Autismo en Voz Alta

Dear friends and donors,

I am excited to share with you the significant progress we have made in creating opportunities for integration.

Your unwavering support has been instrumental in helping us promote inclusion, which improves the well-being, interactions, and learning environments of all those involved.

For educators and professionals who work with children with autism, their neurodiverse, and their neurotypical peers, building skills and strategies is a win-win situation for everyone. When a child with autism becomes more independent and autonomous, it positively impacts their family and community dynamics.

In 2023, we directly served 590 families and trained 270 professionals, benefiting more than 2,790 people and raising awareness among another 1,087 people.

I am proud to announce that this yearwe are collaborating with a university, a hospital, and a children's organization to introduce integration awareness and coping strategies to more teachers, caregivers, and professionals interacting with neurodiverse populations, including autism.

In 2024, we plan to serve 650 families through our specialized services. We aim to optimize our processes while providing financial support to the families. Currently, our psychoeducational school program has one hundred children enrolled, and we are averaging 30-40 monthly diagnostics and evaluations.

As we continue to face challenges in the economic, political, and social arena, we want you to know that we remain determined to scale our programs to benefit an increasing number of children and adolescents with autism and their families, as well as all members of the community in which they live, learn, work, and play. Your support motivates, drives, and allows us to achieve our goals.

We are committed to optimizing our efforts to make a positive difference, and we appreciate your trust and continuous participation. We are very grateful for your support. We will keep you posted on our progress.

Marianella, on behalf of the Autismo en Voz Alta team
