Dear donors,
we have managed to raise funds and in-kind donations in computer equipment needed for providing most important support for the project. Now, elementary school Ilija Garasanin in Arandjelovac have functional and modernized IT classroom with PC's updated with new and high quality components and they can provide up-to-date clases for the kids using modern software.
Our project was supported by 14 donors on the GlobalGiving which have donated 801$; besides, we had local campaign which brought support from 5 Serbian companies which have provided donations worth 1.700$ in cahs and additional 1.100$ in computer equipment. With all this support we were in position to purchase most important eqipment for the school (HD, RAM, Power suplly, projector, lap top) and to give them used but quality equipment (electronic whiteboard, printer and scanner).
Priority of the project was to provide kids with modern PC's so they could work and develop their IT skills. School have also supported the project with imrpovement of the basic conditions for the kids - they have invested in refurbrishing of the cabinet and fixing the furniture.
Concrete result of this support is that school have 30 modern working stations in the IT clasroom which is used for all 504 pupils during two shifts 5 days a week and even some additional extracurricular activities. Thank you all for your support and provision of conditions in whch kids can develop their IT skills.

Dear donors,
we are still collecting donations in small amounts for our project. We have agreed with the school to focus on priorities and to update their PC componenets to make their computers more functional. During this May, we will explore prices and purchase the best components available for our budget.
With this support, school computers will provide neccessary quality of work and enable students to develop their IT skills which was the main idea of this project. School have already invested effort in fixing the furniture (chairs and tables) and provided approprate conditions for the kids. Most important support fot them is in modern PC components (RAM memory, Hard disks and Power supply) which will enable them to upgrade quality of work for 30 working stations available in this school.
We will provide you with detailed information and photos after finalization of this project.

Hi,
we have good news from Serbia for project for IT classroom in Arandjelovac. Besides 762$ gathered from donors on GlobalGiving, 6 companies from Serbia have also supported our project donating additional 825$ and IT eqquipment - interactive board, printer and scanner. Also, individual donors have supported the project with additional 530$, boosting our budget to 2.115$ in total.
We are getting close to preparing budget needed for this project and provision of opportunity for kids to develop their IT skills. Our initiative for support was promoted through local and national media raising interest of the community to support this project, mostly by sending donating SMS messages to Divac Foundation.
Thank you all for the support and please share this project with other interested donors, with your help we can finalize this project and create better opportunities for 504 kids!
