Dear donors,
we have managed to raise funds and in-kind donations in computer equipment needed for providing most important support for the project. Now, elementary school Ilija Garasanin in Arandjelovac have functional and modernized IT classroom with PC's updated with new and high quality components and they can provide up-to-date clases for the kids using modern software.
Our project was supported by 14 donors on the GlobalGiving which have donated 801$; besides, we had local campaign which brought support from 5 Serbian companies which have provided donations worth 1.700$ in cahs and additional 1.100$ in computer equipment. With all this support we were in position to purchase most important eqipment for the school (HD, RAM, Power suplly, projector, lap top) and to give them used but quality equipment (electronic whiteboard, printer and scanner).
Priority of the project was to provide kids with modern PC's so they could work and develop their IT skills. School have also supported the project with imrpovement of the basic conditions for the kids - they have invested in refurbrishing of the cabinet and fixing the furniture.
Concrete result of this support is that school have 30 modern working stations in the IT clasroom which is used for all 504 pupils during two shifts 5 days a week and even some additional extracurricular activities. Thank you all for your support and provision of conditions in whch kids can develop their IT skills.
