Sustainable Development Association celebrated International Women’s Day under its Give to Gain initiative to recognize the important role of women and girls in families, communities, and sustainable development. The event provided a respectful platform for women, girls, youth, and community members to come together, share experiences, and discuss the importance of gender equality, dignity, education, and women’s participation in decision-making.
During the celebration, participants highlighted that when women are supported, families and communities become stronger. The discussion focused on girls’ education, women’s economic empowerment, protection from discrimination, and the need to create safe spaces where women can speak, lead, and contribute with confidence.
The activity promoted the message that communities gain when they give women respect, opportunity, encouragement, and equal space. Through this celebration, Sustainable Development Association strengthened awareness on gender equality and renewed its commitment to continue working for women’s empowerment, dignity, and meaningful participation in society.
