The malaria situation in the village remains a serious concern. With the heavy rains these days, mosquitoes have increased greatly, leaving many families at greater risk of malaria, especially children and other vulnerable people.
Karitas Relief Mission continues to follow the situation closely and support affected families as much as possible. As a immediate response, Karitas has provided mosquito repellents to families to help protect themselves from the many mosquitoes in their homes and surroundings.
The families are grateful for this support, but the need remains high as the rains continue and mosquitoes keep increasing. We are encouraging families to use the repellents properly and to take other preventive measures to reduce mosquito bites.
Karitas Relief Mission remains committed to protecting village families and reducing the suffering caused by malaria. We continue to appeal for support so that more families can receive mosquito protection and other essential malaria-prevention supplies.
