Families in Namakwa Village continue to struggle with the threat of malaria, especially children and other vulnerable people. Many households do not have enough mosquito nets, leaving family members exposed to mosquito bites at night. When people become sick, families also face difficulties meeting medical and other household needs.
Karitas Relief Mission has continued working closely with the community to identify the most vulnerable families and assess their need for mosquito nets. We are also sensitizing families about malaria prevention and encouraging them to use mosquito nets consistently while we mobilize resources for distribution.
The community is very grateful for the support and is eagerly waiting for the mosquito nets. Karitas Relief Mission remains committed to helping families stay safe and reducing the suffering caused by malaria in Namakwa Village.
