The fundraising campaign has netted $75.00 this quarter. This funds will help give continuation of the Climate Change and Water Lab. We appreciate every donation that is given that gives hope to the communities we serve. This month we were working on the 2nd floor of the laboratory. The second floor will house the visiting staff. We plan to offer the second floor as a guest residence for visiting scientists, community organizers and artists. We also have decorated the reception room with art pieces of a local artist, Iraida. Iraida also gifted ISER Caribe her sea shell collection that is more than 50 years old. The collection is a family heirloom that she decided to donate for educational purposes. We continues working with the community and for the community. Thanks for your assistance.

First of all, we are very thankful for the opportunity to raise funds through the GlobalGiving platform. ISER Caribe is an environmental education and scientific research organization in Puerto Rico. Our Water Lab will serve the communities in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. We have rented a historical building in Cabo Rojo, a town in southwestern Puerto Rico. The building is located near the town central square. Cabo Rojo is a very important municipality, as it has a strong economy, a diversity of ecosystems, and historical importance. We have used the funds raised with this project to help clean, and remodel the building that houses the Water Lab. The building had been abandoned for over years. In part, the funds were used to fix the plumbing of the building and the electricity. We continue working to develop the water lab this year. Thanks for your donations. Your support is gratefully apreciated.
