YoungArts New York May 9th - 11th

Calling all New York residents!!!

Please join us May 9-11 for YoungArts New York. The YoungArts New York program gives the winners and alumni from the New York area unique opportunities to showcase their talents, work with great masters, and enrich their artistic vision throughout the year through YoungArts collaborations and partnerships with the City's leading arts organizations. 

This year's events kick off on May 9!!!

Our schedule includes:

Master classes with:

  • Irving Sandler an American art critic and educator
  • Bill T. Jones, an award-winning multi-talented artist, choreographer, dancer, theater
    director and writer. 
  • Jay Scheib, Award winning stage director, designer, author of plays, operas and live art events

Performance Dates:

·          Thursday, May 9 / 7:30pm - Performance at BAC (Baryshnikov Arts Center) Performances
programmed by Mikhail Baryshnikov

·          Friday, May 10 / 6:30pm to 8:30pm - Visual Arts, Photography opening at the Founders
Room and Gallery at MoMA

·          Saturday May 11 / 7:30pm - Changing Light on Water: Some Possible Beginnings and Endings -
performance directed by Bill T. Jones, Clarke Studio Theater at Lincoln Center
