Since February 2025, The Action Foundation (TAF) has made exciting progress on the
Innovation, Research and Community Centre (IRCC), a transformative space for
children and youth with disabilities. We have cleared and levelled the land,
conducted essential soil tests, and built key site structures, including an on-site
storage facility and a gate to support construction and secure the site. We have also
begun the necessary government approval processes, including land-use
permissions, environmental compliance (NEMA), and building permits. While these
approvals take time, starting early ensures smooth and compliant progress.
Throughout, we have engaged local families, caregivers, and community leaders to
ensure the Centre reflects their needs. Thanks to the generous support of our
individual donors, the IRCC is moving closer to reality, laying the foundation for a
safe, inclusive, and empowering space that will transform lives for years to come.
