Widowed women in low-income communities often lose their main source of income and face economic exclusion. This project will support 70 widowed women to rebuild their incomes through skills training, work tools, and small-scale income opportunities.
After the loss of a spouse, many widowed women experience sudden income loss, limited access to employment, and social vulnerability. Without support, they struggle to meet basic needs, support their children, and achieve financial stability.
The project will help 70 widowed women regain income through practical skills training, access to basic work tools, and guidance on small income-generating activities. Participants will receive mentoring and follow-up support to help them apply their skills, improve productivity, and sustain earnings.
The project will enable widowed women to earn reliable incomes, reduce dependency, and improve household well-being. Over time, these women will gain confidence, financial independence, and resilience against future economic shocks.
