Project Overview
We are raising funds for a video colposcope and a diathermocoagulator for the inclusive clinic Light Medical Center in Poltava. This equipment will enable early diagnosis and treatment of cervical conditions for women from vulnerable groups, including those living with HIV. The project aims to ensure access to quality and safe medical care without stigma or discrimination.
Progress and Activities (June–August 2025)
A total of 392 psychological consultations were provided at the clinic.
33 patients have signed declarations with the family doctor.
Starting from September 1, the clinic employed three new specialists: a gynecologist, pulmonologist, and cardiologist. The gynecologist has already begun consultations.
With the support of a GlobalGiving grant, the clinic successfully purchased an ultrasound machine (USG). A video presentation about this equipment will be shared soon.
Next Steps
Continue fundraising for the purchase of a video colposcope and electrosurgical coagulator.
Expand medical services by integrating the newly hired specialists.
Raise awareness about the new ultrasound equipment and its role in providing quality diagnostics for vulnerable women.
