By Isabel Lozano Maurer | The road we are on: learning as we go.
A year and a little more after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, learning new ways to meet, paying attention to integral health, we can say that without lowering our guard in the face of the pandemic, we have managed to continue on our way together with the Tzeltal-Tzotsil Cooperative.
In these months the coolective work has been focused on the planning for the Social Networks of the Tzeltal-Tzotsil Cooperative for the year, a calendar was made identifying the dates that are important for the members of the cooperative in order to plan the way in which we want to share them with the outside world.
Taking advantage of the honey and coffee harvests and with the objective of involving the youngest members, they were invited to take photographs of these processes, to later turn them into material for the Tzeltal-Tzotsil Cooperative's social networks. We are very happy to see that the knowledge and tools shared in different spaces are being put into practice in the different work areas of the cooperative.
We know that the best way to learn is to learn by doing, and that is what has been achieved in this space and we continue, because we know that you can never learn by doing.
