Improved water access and hygien in rural schools

Kenya Voluntary Development Association (KVDA) has the greatest pleasure to submit its report to GlobalGiving outlining the process and determination towards the implementation of this campaign to raise funds to implement the program.

KVDA launched the campaign to raise funds for improved access and hygien in rural schools four months ago.

The total Goal for this campaign is US$ 39, 805.00 and so far the campaign has raised the paltry US$35 and the remaining amount to complete the donation is US$39, 770.00

The US$35 was raised by 4 donors and there are no monthly donors to support this campaign.

KVDA in collaboration with Solar Green Education of Spain have been pondering on the best strategy to attract funding under this program and agreed that KVDA writes to all its local and international partner organizations seeking for funds to bolster the fund raising initiative.

E-mail communication was sent to over 200 partner organizations from different countries calling for suppport and this was done during the last week of April 2025 and we look forward to the feedback and this will inform our next move aware that time is of greatest essence in our endeavour to make the difference through volunteering and support the worthy cause for the people to access clean water and energy.

KVDA appeals to friends and well-wishers to listen to our story and do everything within their powers to support this worthy cause aware that access to water and clean energy is the fundamental indicator of social progress and the people have an opportunity to strengthen their capacities through the community of efforts and this must be done through collaboration and solidarity that is fundamental to make the difference in the world.

The strategy adopted to appeal for support through networks and volunteers who have worked with KVDA before is fundamental aware that people all over the world are faced with challenges of monumental proportions and donating to needy causes is a daunting task as people are faced with a plethora of appeals coming from all shades and it is a question of choice for those who are motivated towards charity and support for needy causes.

KVDA appeals to friends, colleagues and well wishers to do everything within their powers to support this worthy project that will benefit hundreds of people at Emmabwi Village and Ebukobelo Primary School fraternity.

The size of the donation really does not matter and what matters is the spirit and determination to mobilize all purpose resources for the success of this campaign with greater determination.

KVDA appeals for support within the GlobaGiving fraternity to enable us to raise the required resources and it is important to note that this cannot be successful without having the people who are supreme to be central to the implementation of this program.

Donation to KVDA is donation to the worthy cause and let it challenge our people to become the key pillar towards socio-economic development. 

We have the daunting task to deliver on our mandate aware of the sluggish 4 months with the paltry US$ 35 raised in 4 months and it calls for the community of efforts in order to enhance the process.
