The music project is advancing very well.
Last December 2021, Spanish journalists published a great article on the project which triggered many scientists and professionals to contact us. After this, we have looped in two new great volunteers, both neurologists from two different Spanish hospitals who want to be truly involved in the project, providing us with greater support.
These two new neurologists, together with the original team, are now finalizing the music intervention, which will start in February 2022.
We have currently six classrooms at the school, with 31 children, and the music teacher has already been trained to implement this program in every class.
Along January, we are also finalizing the initial neurological evaluations, which include testing all kids on: auditive attention, auditive memory, prosodic abilities, and the quality of their sleep.
