We have finally been able to present results for this Project at our IV Neuroscientific Symposium, which took place last week, 26th and 27th April.
We had a total of 6 classes of about 6 kids in this music project. The project´s principal investigator, who is a neurologist, explained at this venue, to students, families, doctors and colleagues, that tests done at the beginning and at the end have unfortunately not given statistically significative results about the impact of music in kids with neurological disorders.
We have, nevertheless, learnt important lessons on how to approach the next project from many different points of views, using a more complete and holistic method.
An incredible positive experience of this project is all the great times that kids take to themselves, learning songs and starting to engage with music sounds, intonations and melodies, which will certainly be set laying ground for our next music project, starting in the next school year.
Thank you everyone who has supported us and hopefully you will continue to support us in the coming music project.
