For more than six years Charitable Foundatio Let`s Help has cared to some 6,000 destitute elderly persons living alone. There are many of them who cannot move independently and need constant assistance. We deal with them every month, delivering food, medicine, personal care and other necessities. Volunteers and social workers help in everyday life. To be able to act quickly, we need to constantly work on the problem. After all, this is the only way we can save the lives of these people.
The focus of attention and charity now is military needs. At the same time, 6,000 Ukrainian annuals were left almost alone with themselves and without the necessary assistance. Food, drinking water and many other necessities are now very important to these people. There are few products in the shops, the queues are long, only the most expensive goods remain on sale. In case of danger, most of them will not be able to reach the shelter on their own and need to be transported to a safe place.
We will fully provide the necessary products and other things for all single retirees who are under our care. Our foundation also works with other organizations that are ready to transport people with disabilities to safer places. If necessary, we pay for the stay of such persons in specialized institutions and provide them with all necessary assistance.
The targeted assistance project has been running for six years. During this time we have supported and helped tens of thousands of lonely elderly people. In wartime, it requires more attention and funding, but the needs of these people are daily for life. They have nothing to eat every day, they count every penny every day, choosing what to spend it on in order to survive. Therefore, our foundation will continue to take care of those who cannot do it themselves in the future!
