Each year, Fundacion Huesped provides free care to 42,000 people across the country, offering counseling on HIV and sexual health, psychological support, legal assistance, and HIV and syphilis testing. The economic crisis is threatening the continuity of these free services, creating an urgent need for fundraising action.
Each year, thousands of people from the LGBTIQ+ community rely on Fundacion Huesped for their healthcare needs. Our organization serves individuals in extreme vulnerability, such as those expelled from the healthcare system, without insurance, rejected from jobs due to living with HIV, or discriminated against because of their gender identity or sexual orientation. We cannot turn away these people who are rejected elsewhere.
The services offered by Fundacion Huesped are free and sustained by the monthly donations of thousands of individuals. This year, due to the economic crisis and rising costs, we need to double the number of donors to maintain these services.
This initiative will allow us to secure independent funding to ensure the long-term continuity of our services.
