Our project since February 2025 has not been going on well as expected bu we in Environment Aware And Restoration NETWORK ( EARN) will overcome the obstacles with resilience.
It is not funny but life threatening to drink crude oil instead of clean and safe water. Children and women spend most of their time searching and fetching oily water for their daily use in crude oil contaminated communities in oil oil producing areas of Nigeria.
The children, women ,vulnerable group and entire communities are exposed to toxic and contaminated water sources polluted by oil spills.
The children,women and people in the communities are affected by cancer-causing Petroleum hydrocarbons exposure which can be mitigated by providing water boreholes and tanker water suply to impacted communities.
Study predicts Epidemic of cancer (heart,kidney,liver,leukaemia, reproductive and developmental diorders and rashes in children) in 2025 in the oil producing areas of Nigeria.
Can the world prevent this and save lives? It is possible by generous giving and empathy.
