This water project is expected to deliver safe and potable water and provide good sanitary and hygienic conditions for victims of crude oil spill disasters in oil producing areas of Nigeria. Specifically, the goal is to
-break the cycles of water scarcity and poverty caused by crude oil disasters and water contamination.
- break the cycle of cancer of various forms .Study predicts epidemic of cancer in 2025 in the oil producibg areas
- stop people from drinking oily water
-stop children from searching and fetching water daily instead of going to school and get educated.
-improve sanitary and hygienic life of poor people in the affected communities
-transform and give hope to children, women and other vulnerable groups in the oil-impacted communities.
Since the creation of this very important transformative initiative, EARN has received only two donations and is concerned and committed but not dismayed by the low response to this critical project which is a life-support to victims of crude oil spill disasters. Water is essentially life and a fundamental human right for survival, hygiene and overall wellbeing
EARN is making frantic efforts to reach out to globally empathatetic individuals, foundations, charities and humanitarian organisations for attention and support to change lives in our communities.
THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN, GLOBALGIVING AND OUR KIND DONORS.
