Women with Disabilities are facing double discrimination because of Gender & Disability. They deprived of fundamental rights even Education & Skill development so that they always depend on parents. They have no choice of livelihood option with dignified access but they have potential to deliver. NDF has established NDF Youth Skill Development Center for the proper training, Career Counseling & Home Based Enterprise for Women with Disabilities in Nawabshah, to empower them.
Women with Disabilities are chained into four walls of their homes. They deprived of learning opportunities like Education & Skill Development to be able to earn their livelihood with dignified access. The women with disabilities have potential to deliver but but deprived of opportunities. in this way they become useless & burden over family, they are not respected as others. This is big problem of society to be addressed.
National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) has established NDF Youth Skill Development Center in Nawabshah to empower women with disabilities to provide 03 months registered training in Stitching, Sewing & Dress Making after completion the successful training, qualified certification, the home based enterprise will be established with tool box (Sewing Machine, Iron, Chair, Table, & Raw Material). In this way women with disabilities can earn her livelihood with dignified access.
The NDF program of Women Empowerment through enterprise development will bring potential long term impacts to provide training 10-100 women with disabilities each year, this is regular program of NDF with support of local & International philanthropy to make it sustain in future.
