The summer is over and we are now processing fruit and vegetables from our fields.
As we have found out, lot of our families do not make use of conserving fruit and vegetables.
That's why we have started teaching them theory and practice of conserving food so that they can profit from it during winter. Mothers and children can now conserve pumpkins, apples, apricots.
They prepared several types of glass conserves, which can be consumed by families during winter and spring months.
Not only have we taught our 25 families a new skill, new competence for life. What is more, and what our planet will be grateful for as well, is that they can now make use of fruit and vegetables, which would otherwise go to waste.
