A second work station is established east of Jerusalem to support Women from the Jahaleen bedouin tribe, still many types of equipment and hand tools are needed and initial start-up inventory is low.

the Jahaleen site supports 8 women from the ages of 18-65 and is being trained by Bedouin women from Ta'amreh tribe ( first Site )

12 training visits in 2019 and 24 remaining for the first level in leather training shall be accomplished.

by mid-year we BWB is hoping to set its third bedouin location in Hebron

Women started selling some products and Join local markets yet they need more training to better the product.

A brand name has been chosen by women for the leather products

the shops still need packaging and branding tools

Bedouins Without Borders (BWB) project is successfully running, with 22 women learning and working daily on improving their skills. The women cooperative, have produced various items that reflect the Bedouin heritage, especially accessories, and leather bags. The women are also being trained to become trainers themselves, and share this knowledge and experience with different women in their communities, interested in joining and learining these skills.

The Bedouin women, have also participated in different festivals, and events to showcase their products, and generate income from them. They have also became more independent in presenting new ideas using leather, and work together to support one another in presenting high quality items.

The next step will be training women in marketing, accounting and management skills, so they can run these workshops and cooperative on their own in the near future. The workshops still require raw materials to be used for making various Bedouin items, and BWB will continue to support the women cooperative in their workshop, until they are able to stand on their own.

Thank you for supporting our Bedouin women in their journey towards personal and community development!

BWB started recruiting Bedouin women who want to learn the old ways of the Bedouin crafts and who fit a curtain financial category.

BWB have brought together 22 enthusiastic women by the end of august to the first Bedouin women cultural team.

The first training on Bedouin knitting and embroidery has started on 5/9/2018 and the team should produce their first materials in ten days

Following this training the team will undergo a second training focused on making jewelry

So far the team members are very excited about the idea but we believe they need more team building trainings and basic management skills

BWB will provide pictures in the following days
