Bedouins Without Borders (BWB) project is successfully running, with 22 women learning and working daily on improving their skills. The women cooperative, have produced various items that reflect the Bedouin heritage, especially accessories, and leather bags. The women are also being trained to become trainers themselves, and share this knowledge and experience with different women in their communities, interested in joining and learining these skills.
The Bedouin women, have also participated in different festivals, and events to showcase their products, and generate income from them. They have also became more independent in presenting new ideas using leather, and work together to support one another in presenting high quality items.
The next step will be training women in marketing, accounting and management skills, so they can run these workshops and cooperative on their own in the near future. The workshops still require raw materials to be used for making various Bedouin items, and BWB will continue to support the women cooperative in their workshop, until they are able to stand on their own.
Thank you for supporting our Bedouin women in their journey towards personal and community development!
