Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are pleased to report on our recent activities and progress in advancing media literacy and ethics in Europe. Your continued support has been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals.
In the first quarter of the year, we completed the second Narva mediaLAB in Narva, Estonia. The mediaLAB brought together a diverse group of individuals from the local community, including young people, educators, and representatives from various community organisations. Together, we explored media literacy, focusing on the development of critical thinking skills and media production. Through hands-on workshops and interactive discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of how media shapes their world and how they can use media to advocate for change in their communities. The success of the mediaLAB was due in large part to the support we received from our funders.
We have also been engaging in an ongoing conversation about ethics on our social media platforms. Our Instagram post sparked a lively discussion among our followers about the importance of ethical considerations in media production. We believe that social media can be a powerful tool for promoting dialogue and critical thinking around these issues.
Finally, we are excited to announce that we are beginning a number of new projects and documentary photography workshops in partnership with organisations across Europe. These projects will build on the success of our previous work and focus on advancing media literacy and production skills in women. We believe that these collaborations will be crucial in expanding the reach and impact of our work.
We recognise that our work would not be possible without the generous support of our funders. We hope that you will continue to support us as we work to promote media education and production, literacy and ethical media practices in Europe and beyond. Your support will help us to continue to create positive change in our communities.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Jekaterina
