Have you been following our campaigns?

By Jekaterina Saveljeva | Founder and Workshop Facilitator

Dear Supporters,

Did you know that femLENS runs a number of campaigns on women's rights each year? So far this year, we have had a small Instagram campaign for International Women's Day and a campaign focusing on working mothers, often overworked and underappreciated.

Check out these photo stories by our Discord community members who were mentored and guided in the story making process by femLENS team memebers. Our talented contributors come from Italy, Portugal, Mexico and Spain, and show inside the lives of women exploring stereotypes and challenges, following this year’s IWD theme “Break the Bias”.

The “Mother’s at Work” campaign features working mothers from Ireland, Lebanon, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Palestine and Italy! Check out our Instagram page for more amazing photo stories.

We have also been featured in The Game digital magazine!

Starting this week, we will begin work with a new group of women in Donegal, Ireland on a series of virtual documentary photography workshops, and are looking forward to the stories that come from this engagement!

There has also been a number of exhibitions this year in Dublin, Ireland and Donegal, Ireland featuring work of our workshop participants from around the world!

Thank you for your support!
