The need for the Freedom programme is growing daily as the need for our services increases.
We also run group programmes in both of our safe houses, peer to peer support can be vital as this breaks the common myth that the abuse was somehow the fault of the victim.
Some people come on the programme and they may recognise some of the abuse they have suffered. The programmes goes through all of the different sorts of abuse there are and many women find out that they have been victims of more than one kind of abuse and not seen other behaviours as further abuse.
