Dear Donor,
On June 8, 26 women in Daraya came together for a legal awareness session focused on reparations and transitional justice.
The session covered key forms of reparations, including restitution, rehabilitation, compensation, satisfaction, and guarantees of non-recurrence. Each topic opened the door to important questions: Who is eligible? Who makes the decisions? What does compensation really mean? How can these rights be pursued in practice?
What stood out most was the level of participation.
The room was full, the discussion was active, and the questions were specific and deeply connected to the realities these women have lived through.
This strong engagement reflects how important it is for women to have access to clear, practical legal information and safe spaces where they can ask questions about their rights and the paths available to them.
Individual legal consultations were also offered for women who wished to discuss their personal circumstances privately.
Your support helps make these sessions possible. It gives women access to knowledge, guidance, and a stronger understanding of the rights and justice mechanisms that may shape their future.
Thank you for helping create spaces where women can ask, learn, understand, and move forward with greater confidence.
With heartfelt gratitude,
