During the second session with this group, 26 women gathered to explore two things that are often overlooked in difficult times: self-care and personal resilience.
One activity invited each woman to write down her strengths—what she does well, what she has overcome, and what has helped her keep moving forward.
At first, the room became quiet.
For some, naming their own strengths did not come easily. Years of pressure, responsibility, and hardship had left little space to recognize their own courage.
Then the room began to change.
Women started sharing. They spoke about raising families through uncertainty, rebuilding after loss, supporting others, learning new skills, and surviving moments they once believed would break them.
The activity was simple, but its effect was meaningful.
By the end of the session, each woman left with a more compassionate understanding of herself—not only as someone who has faced hardship, but as someone capable, resourceful, and strong.
Your support makes spaces like this possible: spaces where women can pause, reconnect with themselves, and remember that resilience is already part of their story.
Thank you for helping women see themselves with greater confidence, kindness, and hope.
Sometimes change begins with a woman recognizing the strength she has carried all along.
