Because of your donations, we were able to provide extensive safety planning, advocacy and case management in two very complicated cases of domestic violence connected with the military in September, ultimately getting them home safely in the USA.
As you can imagine, a victim reporting domestic violence in the military, whether an active duty spouse or military dependent, can be overwhelming. A co-case management effort between AODVC and a military family advocate ensured the best possible outcomes for the families that both the military and a nonprofit working together could provide.
