Hannah emailed our crisis email last month. She was afraid and confused. She is overseas with her husband who is in the military.
He is verbally abusive to her, calling her names, insulting her and throwing things at her. She doesn't want to report him but she can't continue the way things are.
We have been helping Hannah navigate her challenging situation. Confronting him may increase the violence.
Hannah decided to leave and come back to the USA for safety. She left her husband a note explaining why she left.
Since arriving back to the USA her husband has said he was sorry and has agreed to go to anger management. Hannah isn't sure what is next but she truly appreciates Pathways for helping her understand what her options were to be safe and try to keep her marriage in tact.
