In 2016 we experienced an increase in victims served overall and an increase in military victims served by 15%.
You donations help us provide critical services to military victims and collaborate with victim advocates on military bases to ensure that victims are receiving the best each program has to offer.
Most of these military victims needed emergency stays in hotels when they needed to immediately escape violence, funds for emergency needs like food and diapers. With the assistance of victim advocates at the bases, our case managers were able to coordinate the issueance of passports and returns home back to the USA.
We are proud of our collaborative efforts with the military to help victims. Thank you so much from AODVC and the 23 victims you helped in 2016! The AODVC Team
