Lily out feeding
Lily does not like people (not a bad thing) and hates being picked up. As much as we try not to be hands on during the rehabilitation process, human interaction is necessary when moving a pangolin between their undisclosed housing and feeding areas. Lily has been slapping the staff with her strong sharp tail when ever they need to transport her from one area to another.
She is also not a fan of torch light which is also making it very difficult for the team to monitor her feeding.
Thankfully after a few weeks she has now settled and her rehabilitation is going fantastically!
We still have a long way to go before Lily can be released, but as she continues to feed well and pick up weight we are confident that she will make a full recovery from her ordeal and will be able to be released back in the wild.
You can help Lily, by making a donation and by sharing our project with friends and family and encouraging them to do the same!
