Education and Skills Development for All

Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development is a nongovernmental organization Registered with the Government of the Republic of Zambia and approved as a public benefit organization (PBO) under the Income Tax Act of Laws of Zambia. 

In order to enahnce on education and skills development for orphans and vulnerable children, the organization received the vocational tools from Tools 4 Change based in Nertherlands. The tools that have helped the organization establish the Computer Lab at Fortune School of Excellence. Through the establishment of the Computer Lab, the organization is also offering Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in partnership with Tech 4 Change based in United Kindgom  who are helping to provide virtual computer lessons. 

The organization has also continued to provide primary education to orphans and vulnerable children in the Solwezi District, North-western province of Zambia with a total enrolnment of over 400 pupils from grade one to seven and with 8 members of staff who are paid monthly stipend through this project and other donations. 

The organization is offering vocational skills to both the youths and women in our efforts to promote self-reliance as part of the Fortune School of Excellence.

In our efforts to contribute to girls education, the organization has further introduced Girls Mentorship and girls Scholarship in partnership with Global G.L.O.W and Beautiful World Canada Foundation.
