Access to education is the dream of every child in the community, however due to both social and economical challenges some children are unable to attend school. This is the more reason why CCCYD established Fortune School of Excellence to offer educational support to children in need. In 2022, the school has a total enrollement of 425 children from Grade one to Seven.
Besides the provision of primary education, we are also offering basic computer skills and virtual mentorship in partnership with Village Book Builders and Tech for Change.
The project is helping educate orphans and vulnerable children allowing them to remain in school and improve on their life. This will reduce the burden on guardians who have taken up the responsibilities of taking care of orphans left behind by their relatives and this will also reduce poverty and crime in the community which is on increase as a result of children being found on the street.
