Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development has continued to provide primary education support to orphans and vulnerable children in Humphrey Mulemba and other surrounding areas of Solwezi District. In 2021, Fortune School of Excellence recorded a total enrolment of 306 children from Grade one to seven. The school recorded good performance for grade sevens as the majority scored 600 and above marks.

In 2022 term one, the school enrolment stands at 386 pupils from Grade one to Seven.

CCCYD has also continued to offer virtual learning programs in partnership with Village Book Builders which is based in the USA to supplement and enhance access to free virtual mentorship which has so far improved the academic performance of all the pupils participating in the program

CCCYD, working in partnership with Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation e.V. German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation  (DSIK), had in 2021 trained over 235  small scale farmers  and micro entrepreneurs using a Business Simulation Game. The significance of this is that it is helping to improve the financial literacy education among small scale farmers and micro entrepreneurs.
