WORKPLAN FOR REPAIR OF MILLING MACHINE AND CONSTRUCTION OF WELL FOR AHINKOFI PALM KERNEL OIL ASSOCIATION

 

14th to 18th February, 2011: Completion of electrical works

15th to ---------- February, 2011: Drilling of well

21st to 25th February, 2011: Installation of milling machine

15th March, 2011: Commissioning of the project

COMMISSIONING ACTIVITIES

  • Construction and erection of signboard indicating project partners and donors.
  • Hiring of plastic chairs and canopies
  • Covering of the program by the press.

INVITEES

  • Deputy Regional Minister and her team (3) people.
  • DCE, Planning officer and their team (5) people.
  • Chief and Elders (5) people.
  • Assemblyman and Unit committee members ( 3) people.
  • Other palm kernel association members ie. Bakado, Kojokrom and Kwesimintsim (15) people. 5 people per group.
  • Department of corporative (1) person.
  • NBSSI – Mr. Koomson (1) person.
  • Imam and a pastor (2) people.
  • Rep. from MOFA.
  • Rep. Corporate Housing Foundation (CHF) (2) people.
  • Department of Social Welfare (DSW).

OTHER ISSUES DISCUSSED

  • Recruitment of operator
  • Painting of the building by Association members
  • Establishment of committee with one (1) automatic member from DQF to manage the milling machine.
  • Opening of account with DQF

 MANAGEMENT OF THE REVENUE

The amount accrued shall be divided in three (3) parts and it shall be used as follows:

  • 1st part should not be touched.
  • 2nd part for maintenance, payment of Operator, Security, Electricity bills and other utilities.
  • Allowance for the Leader and any other future development project.

Finally, it was agreed that, the amount to be paid to the Operator and the security man with be discussed by the committee and any operation of the association shall be properly recorded to ensure transparency.

The project website has also been updated. We will no longer be sending staff to a training. The total now represents the cost of this project plus the 15% GlobalGiving fee.
