Challenge

Kavya (name changed) comes from a very poor family with an unemployed father  who lost his employment when the gold mines stopped its operations .She has a total loss of vision in one eye . Despite her handicap she is a brilliant student and wants to complete her college education. She is currently in the first year of college.  Through this project we aim to gather funds to support her in continuing her education.

Long-Term Impact

Kavya , in the long run, will be able to qualify  to take up a good job and lead an independent life. She hopes to be able to support herself and her family.  Kavya  and her family thanks YOU, DONOR, for your sacrificial and generous giving of $100 to date which has helped her thus far.  She requests your continued and regular giving which will enable her to complete her education which can surely transform her life, making it meaningful and contribute to society in her chosen career.

PROTECT 20 DISABLED CHILDREN IN KGF FROM STARVING

This project is created to gather funds required to provide food provisions and necessities to currently identified 20 severely disabled and neglected children from very poor families in the defunct mining town of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), Karnataka, India.  Balajothi thanks YOU, DONOR, for your generous contribution of $2,225.21 to date. Using these funds we provide each child with rice, wheat, sugar, oil and other necessities for one month, every month. The parents are very grateful and happy for this service since their child receives nutritious food regularly, keeping them healthy and happy.
