Hi Greetings from Harriet , she is now practicing her profession from a private clinic,Harriet is paid some little amount to enable her meet some basic needs, however Harriet is happy for your continued support even after her studies, “ you are like a mother to me, actually more than a mother, you have cared about me at all times, you made me forget all the past, all that I went through when no one was there to help, you saved me from getting married off at an early age as that was the only option left when finances were not enough to take me back to school, am grateful” narrates Harriet with her face covered with a hankie. Your support has transformed the life of little Harriet and has also impacted the family positively, her family can now have a wonderful Christmas, not only Hariet and her family have benefited from your help, the community as well, recently a woman from Harriets community failed to deliver normally in the community clinic, Harriet called a hospital where she was doing her internship while at school,a life was saved, Harriets impacted life has also impacted the community she was born from.

Hi

Thank you so much for your support towards Harriet, Harriet completed school and now employed in a clinic in Eastern Uganda, Harriet is a midwife, she stays adjacent to the clinic as she some times works in the night, "am glad for your support Brooke, thanks for paying my tuition, you did not only stop at tuition but also enabling me to get a descent accomodation after work, beddings and toiletries" Harriet.

Harriet earns a monthly salary of worth $55, her school results are not yet out, she earns like an intern untill when the results come out by year end. Harriet has also cultivated some millet and sweet potatoes to enable her boost on the income and for food at her workplace and in her home (parent)

Harriet's sister passed on leaving twins aged 6, Harriets family can not take care of these orphans, Harriet will be able to help these orphans when she is self sustained and earns more than what she earns now, to us, enabling Harriet to be self sufficient is enabling her family and community to be self reliant.

Hey

Its a journey worth it, Harriet is finalising her course in June this year, Harriet will be working with a hospital as a volunteer untill her final results come back.

Your sponsorship through the last two years is soon bearing fruit, Harriet will be able to support her self as well as her siblings when she gets a paying job,its an assurance for one who does a course like that of Harriet to get a job so quickly, Harriet will be the first midwife in her village, amazing.

Harriet will also be able to upgrde to an advanced level once she starts working.

Hi,

Two years ago, a girl in a remote village in Uganda had lost hope after she completed her senior four level at secondary school but had means of continuing education, the oly option was to marry her off, Harriet would be having two kids by now and living a misserable elife in a remote village, but thatnks be to God, a sponsor wrote to us asking to sponsor a child who wants to do nursing as a course, here appeared the right choice Harriet, today Harriet is counting days to complete her two year course at the Iganga school of nursing, Harriet is so much excited about this opportunity, she says this is something she will never forget in life.

"Am so much happy excited about his success story, its going to be our fourth success story of a child sponsored under our project to complete formal education" Lilian, executive committee treasurer

"A vote of thanks to Brooke the sponsor of Harriet for the consistent sponsorship"-Francis, Mountains of Hope Executive chairman

Regards

Hi

Today Harriet has reported for her second last internship training going in a big hospital in Eastern Uganda.

The school materials you helped fund like gloves will enable her to do this training which will go up to December 2018.

Harriet is studying advanced course in midwifery in Uganda, she is going to be the only trained midwife in her village,  what a previlage for this village?

Harriet had this to say "Am grateful am almost finishing my course, am now able to make people's life better when I give them better health"

"Thank you for enabling Ugandan children reach their goals" James_Mountains of Hope Director
