Dear Partners,
On Wednesday, the International Day of the Girl, Girls Education Mission International have marked the occasion, distributing 100 sanitary pads to school in Nigeria.
We are so proud of the work we have accomplished together so far. However, we still have a long way to go to reach a world where adolescent girls have access to sanitary products at no cost or affordable price- an opportunity they so deeply deserve.
In Nigeria, girls are grappling with compounding challenges which is obviouly occur on a daily basis through kidnapping and attacks of school girls in the Nothern region of the country. Each of these tremendous challenges undermines progress in girls’ education. More than 7 million girls in Nigeria are still not in school today, and we know that number is expected to rise as factors like rising inflation, food insecurity, and the ongoing threat to their education increses on a dily basis.
Despite these obstacles, we believe we can come together to work toward a future where every girl receives attention she deserve. It is this regard that we plan to set up sanitary pad prodcution unit which is a bussiness mode for Girls Education Mission International to generate income for the work of the organisation to support girls education and to provide them with FREE SANITRY.
Thou, the Sustainable Model for Keeping Girls in School project might seems to be impossible, we hope you’ll join us making it possible by donating to the Project. At the momemr,we are still left with $17,396 to reach the goal of $20,000.
Your support will help girls in Nigeria and Africa to chase their dreams, achieve their goals, and transform the world.
Thank you for believing in our vision and trusting us with you resources.
