Dear Donor,
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity and support of this vital project. Thanks to your contributions, we have raised €4,719 out of the €5,142 needed to provide essential assistance to 450 refugees, including children, who have fled terrorist violence in northern Burkina Faso. With just €423 remaining to reach our goal, we are confident that, together, we can achieve this milestone and bring hope to these families in need.
The Challenge
Over the past year, Burkina Faso has faced a significant surge in terrorist attacks, leading to a massive displacement of people. Families from the province of Bourgangha, including the village of Pisile, have sought refuge on the outskirts of Ouagadougou after enduring brutal massacres. Tragically, nine lives were lost, and many others were injured in these attacks. The refugees, primarily Muslim families, established a camp 8 kilometers away from Polish missionaries, seeking safety and a chance to rebuild their lives.
These families arrived with nothing. They urgently need food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and, most importantly, access to education for their children. Without immediate support, they face the risk of hunger, disease, and despair.
Our Solution
Our mission is to ensure these families have the basics they need to survive and the tools to move forward. This includes:
This support will be provided over the next six months, giving the refugees a foundation for stability as they search for jobs and work toward self-sufficiency.
The Impact
This project has the potential to create lasting change:
Your Role
We are almost there! Your support has brought us so close to our goal. With just €423 remaining, we urge you to continue supporting this project by donating, sharing this campaign with your networks, or becoming a monthly donor. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us provide food, hygiene supplies, and education to these vulnerable families.
Your compassion has already made a tremendous difference. Together, let us ensure that these families receive the assistance they need to start anew, with dignity and hope for a brighter future.
Thank you for standing with us and with the refugees of Ouagadougou.
